The final step on my last NYC trip has been the Library Hotel.
Four years after my first shooting I can still say that this is absolutely one of the coolest hotel I’ve ever been! Top 5 ever.
Why is one of the coolest? The hotel looks great and in every room there is a small thematic library that follows the room’s name! And the lounge and the lobby are two big and warm libraries too.
But my connection with this place doesn’t stop at my work.. some of my NYC pictures are exposed at the hotel’s 14th Floor rooftop which features the Writer’s Den and Poetry Garden and terrace, and by night the floor becomes a trendy local called Bookmarks Lounge.
…and this is not everything… the hotel’s library now hosts one of my father’s last books: Antichità di Preneste nelle stampe. He traveled with me on this overseas trip and he gifted this book to the hotel to thanks them about their nice hospitality!
The hotel is located between Madison ave and the Library street, just one block from the iconic Grand Central Station and from the National Public Library and Bryant park, it’s really the heart of Manhattan.
The Library Hotel is actually ranked n.4 overall on Tripadvisor list for the best hotels in New York City and it’s been awarded by Tripadvisor n.18 on the Top 25 Hotels – United States!
So, what else I can say… Library Hotel Collection are not just simple places to sleep in Manhattan, these boutique hotels embody the mood of the town and set you on a different level of travel experience.
