A hotel renovation is no longer just about updating interiors. A thoughtful restyling project can become an opportunity to redefine how a property welcomes its guests, communicates its character and is perceived.
In hospitality, guests increasingly look for authentic, well-curated experiences. Good service remains essential, but atmosphere, the character of the spaces and the ability to convey a clear identity from the very first impression are just as important.

This is especially true in a city like Florence, where every hotel enters into dialogue with a strong urban identity. Standing out does not mean being louder or more theatrical. It means finding a voice that feels precise, credible and consistent.
The recent renovation of Globus Urban Hotel moves in this direction. It does not chase dramatic effect, but expresses a quiet, measured beauty.

During the shoot, I had the opportunity to experience the restyling work led by Serena Forzieri, interior designer and co-owner of the hotel. Her approach gives the spaces a refined sensibility, expressed through materials, light, proportions and a natural connection with the heart of the city.
In hotel visual communication, photography is often the first point of contact between a guest and a property. For Globus Urban Hotel, the aim of the photo shoot was to convey the new identity of the spaces through clean, natural images, preserving the balance between light, materials and atmosphere without over-styling.

This visual narrative works alongside the hotel’s digital identity, developed by QNT Zucchetti Hospitality helping to create continuity between the physical experience and the online presence. Architecture, interior design, photography and web design all move in the same direction: strengthening the hotel’s positioning.
